We've been around for 18 years and are a breeding ground for new performance. Focusing on solo performance, but also branching out to others, we pride ourselves on being a place for performers to come and have an opportunity to display their work in front of audiences.

So we would like to grow our network! If you would like to learn more about The Marsh please visit www.themarsh.org.

Some basic info on Reiki:

Usui Reiki is a system of natural healing that originated in Japan during the early 1900’s and has since become popular worldwide. Many hospitals and health centers have found Reiki to be so beneficial for patients (and staff), that they have incorporated Reiki into their health care services. Reiki utilizes spiritually guided life-force energy to facilitate holistic health and well-being. Reiki reduces tension and stress, dissolves unhealthy blockages, and nourishes the entire energy system, thus facilitating the body’s return to its natural state of health. Reiki works on all levels: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.

In addition to assisting in the healing of physical, mental, emotional imbalances, Reiki is an excellent method for the transformation of consciousness. Reiki strengthens a person's connection to their own inner awareness and supports the flow of that awareness within and into all areas of life, cultivating a more harmonious, balanced, and positive way of being.

The beneficial effects of Reiki include:

*Stimulates and supports the body’s natural healing processes

*Alleviates stress and induces a state of deep relaxation

*Helps in relieving physical and mental/emotional pain

*Clears energy blockages and suppressed emotions

*Facilitates mental/emotional balance

*Works synergistically with traditional and alternative medicine practices

*Helps to speed recovery after surgery

*Helps to relieve the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation

*Eases depression, anxiety, insomnia, grief, anger, fear, guilt, and addiction

*Enhances clarity, awareness, confidence, harmony, and well-being

*Supports spiritual growth, transformational work, and the development of positive states of being

Reiki is always beneficial and can be used on its own, or in combination with other kinds of health care, acting to reduce negative side effects, shorten healing time, reduce or eliminate pain, reduce stress, and help create optimism.

Each Reiki experience is unique and varies somewhat from person to person. However, most people experience feelings of deep relaxation, peace, and well-being. Many feel a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and surrounds them. At the end of the session, one usually feels refreshed and revitalized, with a more positive, balanced outlook. Reiki sessions are administered to fully clothed clients on a massage table. Soft music and candlelight/natural light are used to create a relaxing and uplifting sacred space for healing to unfold gently and naturally.

Absolutely anyone can easily be attuned and trained to use Reiki. Reiki works through consciousness and intention, which are qualities that ALL humans possess, regardless of age, intelligence, philosophy, religion, lifestyle, personal history, health, etc. You do not have to follow a particular philosophy or dogma, or even be particularly skilled at healing to use Reiki. Reiki respects the free will and sovereignty of all individuals, so it can never be used to cause harm, either accidentally or purposefully. Reiki is even conducive to the health and well being of plants and animals.

Stop War Profiteer Feinstein and Disinvest Calpers from Butcher Tyson's

Feinstein.. War Profiteer
Sen Feinstein is a war profiteer, married to URS' Richard Blum,
who has received a massive contract
for a company which manages the checks for US mercenary contractors
such as CACI, Titan, Blackwater Security and other
torturers.

Disinvest Calpers from Butcher Tyson's, world's biggest killer
of cows, pigs and chickens

Sam Alito Supreme Court Nominee Heavily Invested in Slaughterhouses -

Sam Alito twice broke his promise to recuse himself from
Vanguard lawsuits in which he is heavily invested. Vanguard is perhaps of publicly investigated mutual funds the one most heavily invested in several kinds of slaughterhouse operations.

Slaughterhouse, safari hunt and other money has in some cases gone underground with private equity funds. The British are less forthcoming
about stockholders than Americans.

www.senate.gov
202 224 3121
God defeat this nomination.

VANGUARD: INVESTED IN ANIMAL SLAUGHTERHOUSES

Vanguard manages more than US $700 billion and has
more than 5000 institutional investors. It is invested
in many slaughterhouse and war operations.
1 It is the major investor in the world's most corrupt bank,
Citibank whose chairman helped jailed Bernie Ebbers buy Canada's
biggest cattle ranch with stolen MCI customer money.
2 It is a major investor in McDonald's (and since NPR has 200 million
in McDonald's stock,
... the 'public radio' network promoted Vanguard)
28,385,755 2.24 $883,932,410 31-Mar-05
3. It is a major investor in Yums, owner of the boycotted KFC
www.kfccruelty.com and of Taco Bell which finally settled with
unions.
4. It is a major investor in Lonestar Steak House which causes
cancer, heart disease, slaughterhouse agony, and deforestation.
(THE) 409,292 1.99 $11,832,631 31-Mar-05
5. It is a major investor in Triarc (Arby's beef)
6. Wendy's Vanguard is a major investor in the world's
3rd largest cowslaughter fast food chain
7. Vanguard is invested in SBC, a pricegouging conglomerate illegal
in Teddy Roosevelt's days
8. It is invested in Dominion, a gas company which has
been pricegouging the poor with doubling of charges.
9. It is a major investor in ConAgra.. 'butterball' turkeys
and other slaughterhouse items.
10. It is invested in Goldman Sachs, neocon warmonger.

John Bogle its CEO has been touted on NPR
because both are heavily invested in McDonald's. NPR was
allegedly left 200 million in McDonald's stock by Joan Kroc.
It is indeed humorous that Bogle would write a book on
business ethics.

Some of the other funds heavily invested in animal agony: Barclay's, J P Morgan Chase,
Goldman Sachs, Fidelity, Charles Schwab

------
Those who are not vegetarian or vegan might consider that
the incubation period of Mad Cow, Mad Deer, Mad Pig, Mad Chicken,
Mad Fish etc is 50 years according to Dr David Heymann of the CDC
speaking on the CBC... Heymann is one of the few truthtellers
at the pharmaceutically dominated CDC. Any investment in animal
flesh is unwise.

The British are less forthcoming
about stockholders than Americans.
Quote:

Republicans always find it hard
to get out the numbers... in some
cities they hand out tickets to Democrats
when their high paid speakers paid for
with public money come
to town.. in order to swell the audience

Yesterday, as unelected Bush nominee
Sam Alito was questioned by senators,
there were Rent A Republican mobs
outside. It was a hastily done affair..
virtually
everyone with the same sign.

Neocon CNN owned illegally by Neocon
Time Warner... gave frequent flash coverage
to this small group of people.

Poster saw this standing in line
at a grocery store.

www.senate.gov

God end now all violence to any being and listen to
St Francis and Leonardo, two animal rights activists, want
this nomination defeated.
With the string of state murders in the US ratified by the 'Supreme' Court,
one can only describe the 5 judges who have executed with their
pens... 'serial killers'. They have ratified torture, installed an unelected
pawn of war profiteers, ravaged our earth.
The Supreme Court is the only 18th Century institution unchanged.
Since 1776, the Senate has become popularly elected (in theory..

On Saturday, June 25th from 9 PM - 2 AM, the FunkyCozy boys will be celebrating two things: First, it's Sinukus' birthday!!!! Come on down, buy him a beer and wish him another year of world class nuttiness.

Second, our favorite "unofficial" resident, Sattva, is making his third FunkyCozy appearance. Sattva is coming in from Miami to join residents Jonathan Beech, Sinukus and Tim McCormack as we guide you through a mix of downtempo, minimal techno, breakbeats and any other genre we feel like dropping. Many of you have heard the story before, but for those who haven't, the FunkyCozy boys were in Miami last year and randomly walked into a bar where Sattva was spinning. After we picked our jaws up off the floor later that night, plans were quickly made to get Sattva out to San Francisco.

Following his first visit to FunkyCozy, Sattva quickly became a sought after DJ on the local scene, spinning at Qool, doing New Year's Eve at 1015 Folsom, and even coming in for Love Parade last year. The boy's got talent, folks, and he is raring to show you what goodies he's added to his collection. Don't miss it!

Come early as Sinukus, Tim and Sattva will begin the night with a great hour of downtempo to get you grooving. Free champagne from 9 PM to 10 PM.

Anu is at 43 Sixth St. between Market and Mission. No cover!!!!
What are *YOU* doing for the two 3-day holiday weekends this winter?

What, you don’t already have them planned yet? Don't you know that almost all of the cabins are already rented out for the holiday weekends? You haven’t secured an awesome Tahoe home with jacuzzi, dance floor, pool table, kegs, and a bunch of cool people to rock it out on the dance floor?

Well, good thing we've done it for you!
Dimension0.com organizes events and activities for people 21-35-ish in the San Francisco Bay Area to meet eachother, participate in awesome activities, and have a great time doing it. Our events and activities range from snowboarding, to skydiving, to party trolley's, to pretty much anything we can think of!

We have 2 ski/board trips this season. Hop on board quick, because they sell out fast!

Jan 14 - 17 : Martin Luther King Weekend
-------------------------------------------
- 3 nights lodging over the holiday weekend.
- Southshore 5000 sq ft Tahoe mansion.
- XL Jacuzzi, Dance Floor, Pool Table, awesome DJ to rock the house.
- Great food all weekend
- Tahoe Brew Co. kegs (and Budweiser for you pussies) all weekend
- Ski in/ Ski out of Heavenly. (group discount tix there)
Or just go somewhere else if ya want.
$149. Gets you all that.

Feb 18 - 21 President's Day Weekend
--------------------------------------
- 3 nights lodging over the holiday weekend.
- Great food all weekend
- Tahoe Brew Co. kegs
- Bus pick-up to Alpine Meadows near our house!
- The usual dance party action!
$169. Gets you all that.

Food, Beer, AND lodging in Tahoe for about $50 a day... that's cheaper than a night out!
Why are our trips so inexpensive? Our goal is to try to get people up to the mountains to ski/board for as cheap as possible. We know that you'd rather spend your money on lift tickets to get more days in on the mountain than blow that extra money on a really expensive hotel room. Our lodging is very nice, but since we have 30 or so people on a trip (beds are 1st come 1st serve), we can make it extremely inexpensive for everyone to get to Tahoe and have a great time. :) We always have plenty of great food available, and make awesome dinners every evening, catering to meat-eaters and vegetarians alike. And, of course there will be plenty of Tahoe Brew Co. kegs flowing all weekend for those of us who like to chill out with a cold beer after a day at the slopes. We always try to have a dj or two for a Saturday night party, so be prepared to shake some booty!

---------
Online Signups at: http://www.dimension0.com

FAQ's
-----
Q: How do we get up there?
A: You can setup rides with friends... or we will help to arrange carpools, no problem. Once we figure out when you can leave and from where (you will provide this info when you sign up) we will be able to match you into a similar carpool situation.
Q: I can only go for 2 days.. can I get a discount?
A: Everyone must still pay the online price, but of course you'd be saving money by not having to buy a lift ticket for the extra day.
Q: I have a season pass to <insert resort here>, is that cool?
A: Definitely! We will have group discounts at Alpine (northshore) & Heavenly or Kirkwood (southshore). If you choose to ski/board somewhere else, that's totally fine.
Q: What if I sign up and then <insert excuse here> happens and I cant go?
A: All trips are non-refundable.
Q: My friend wants to come on the trip, but just to party, (not to ski/board) is that cool?
A: Of course they are still welcome to come and party. Of course, they'll still have to purchase a trip though!
Q: Are there limited spaces?
A: Yes, space is limited: sign up early.

Dimension0 is a home-grown effort to promote Tahoe winter fun for cheap. We are not a corporate organization; the people who help organize these trips do it on a volunteer basis because they love it and because they have a great time on these trips. You'll definitely meet some down-to-earth, amazing people on these trips... but they sell out fast!

We can't wait to meet you, and hit the slopes!
Cheers,
Kelly & Chris [www.dimension0.com]

Just this month we’re playing 4 gigs in The City, but I have family members who are bridge/tunnel phobic & can’t brave the trip across the bay (I know – my relatives are freaks!). We really haven’t established any connections in the east bay, yet, and it being July already, most places are already booked on Thursday the 29th.

Does anyone know anyone - or know anyone who knows anyone that has a place - bar, café, club – whatever – where we can play on Thursday, July 29th? The stage would have to be big enough to fit 6 of us - full drum kit, and amps for the electric guitar, bass, mandola & mandolin and 5 mics. We have our own P.A. We’d just need electricity & room for us all. We can squeeze in fairly tight, though. We play great, fun, crowd pleasing music (mp3s at www.plasterkatz.com ), we have the sexiest harmonica player on the planet in our band, we have a following of people who will fill your place & buy your beer/lattes and/or food - and it would make my mom very happy.

You want to make my mom happy, don’t you?

Thanks,
Chris
